PRATHAM will help the Schools by Enhancing the Digital Literacy of teachers, Enhancing skills of integrating ICT in classrooms and Enhancing the technical & pedagogical skills for teaching.
Courses B :
In 2005, Pratham launched its vocational skilling arm to train youth from poor backgrounds and provide them access to employment/entrepreneurship opportunities in 8 major vocations (automotive, beauty, construction, electrical, hospitality, healthcare, plumbing and welding) and are among the first organizations who partnered with NSDC.
In 2020, Pratham re-designed its training models to incorporate digital resources and launched the “Hybrid Skilling '' program, with the primary focus of helping youth find employment in the post pandemic world. Over the years, our strength has been in our ability to reach out to and engage with communities, enabling the mobilization of youth with most need for vocational training. The digital penetration within the communities where Pratham works is limited but growing. Hence, the model not only utilizes existing communication platforms such as YouTube, WhatsApp, and Facebook Workplace to engage with the learners, it has also built multiple stages into the design which allows for “human contact” and is positioned to ease learners into this new method of skilling. PRATHAM will join hands with the Schools to conduct a Needs Assessment survey towards setting up a Vocational Studies Centre in Tanda Urmar
